Our History
Founded in 2012 by Kenya and Frank Mitchell in response to a growing demand for their high quality full bodied and craft sweet wines. Mitchell & Mitchell Wines, LLC has grown from a lean start-up into a niche winery located in the Philadelphia Region of the Pennsylvania wine market.
Mitchell & Mitchell Wines is the oldest Black Owned Winery in Pennsylvania, and the surrounding region. Our vision is to unite the people of the whole world over a glass of wine; and our mission is to be recognized as an innovative leader in the Pennsylvania Wine Industry. Our motto is: “better grapes make better wine”. Thus we import grapes from the best wine regions in the world. Bring them back and make the wine right here in Philadelphia. Allowing us to provide our customers with rare or otherwise hard to find wines from around the world; at everyday low Pennsylvania prices. Such as Chilean Carmenere, South African Chenin Blanc, and Italian Valpolicella for under $30 a bottle!

A wine tasting party is a creative way to gather friends and family together to learn about wine and experiment with new or unusual varieties. Whether you are merely pairing wines with specific cheeses or doing a vertical or horizontal tasting, you are sure to notice new nuances in both red wines and white wines as a result of the focused tasting.
